Finished! I was able to complete the CIM with my 50+ lbs rucksack.  Time was a little slower than i wanted, but I finished.

My mother, Ruth Tolle, passed away last year (03/11/17) after a short battle with Large B-cell Lymphoma. In her honor, and to acknowledge the 25th anniversary of my enlistment in the US Army (03/12/93), I ruck marched the California International Marathon on December 2, 2018. The date of the race was also my mother’s birthday, when she would have turned 79.

I did a fundraiser in my mother's name for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS).  Through generous donations, I was able to raise nearly $7,800 for the LLS.  The LLS is the world's largest voluntary health agency dedicated to blood cancers.  It sponsors research to find cures for these cancers and provides information to patients and their loved ones. The

I also donated 25% of my 2018 book royalties to the LLS.
